Shipping & Pickup Information

We offer several shipping and pickup options to meet your needs. Shipping speeds and delivery timelines are based on the delivery method selected at checkout and begin once your order has shipped. All delivery timelines and rates are estimates.

Shipping Options & Estimated Delivery Times

  • Economy Shipping: 7–10 business days (~$7.99, FREE for orders $100+)
  • Standard Shipping: 5–7 business days (~$9.99)
  • Expedited Shipping: 3–4 business days (~$12.99)
  • Express Shipping: 1–2 business days (~$19.99)

Estimated delivery times reflect carrier transit time only and do not include order processing and fulfillment time.

Store & Campus Pickup Options

  • Free – Store Pickup: Main Campus Store
  • Free – Store Pickup: Health Sciences Campus Store
  • Free – Off-Site Pickup: Herriman Campus, Juniper Building

Pickup orders are processed at the Main Campus Store and transferred to select pickup locations on scheduled delivery days. You will receive a confirmation email when your order is ready. Please bring a valid photo ID when picking up your order. Plan your visit, view store hours and locations.

Orders must be picked up within 30 days of notification. Unclaimed pickup orders may be canceled or forfeited and may be subject to refund restrictions or restocking fees in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Order Processing & Fulfillment

Orders are processed Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Orders placed after our daily fulfillment cutoff, on weekends, or on holidays will begin processing the next business day. Depending on order volume and item availability, processing may take several business days before shipment.

We ship all orders within the continental United States using USPS, FedEx, or UPS. Once your order leaves our facility, delivery is handled by the carrier. Shipping speeds begin once your order ships, not when your order is placed.

Inventory Transfers & Multi-Location Fulfillment

Some items may require transfer from another University Campus Store or Utah RedZone location. Items will be shipped or made available for pickup once the transfer arrives. Transfer deliveries are processed on scheduled weekdays and may be delayed due to holidays, weather, or operational constraints.

Backorders & Partial Shipments

If an item is temporarily out of stock, it may be placed on backorder. In some cases, available items may ship first and backordered items will ship once available. Unless otherwise arranged, backordered items typically ship using standard shipping.

Student Housing & Campus Mailrooms

When shipping to on-campus housing, packages are delivered to a central campus mailroom or package locker system, not directly to individual rooms.
Your shipment must include your full first and last name, room number and uNID. Packages missing required information may be delayed or returned to sender.

Campus mailrooms will hold packages and paper mail for a limited time. Perishable packages are held for up to 24 hours, and other packages may be returned to sender if not picked up within the mailroom’s designated holding period. Additional mailroom processing time after carrier delivery is outside of the Campus Store’s control.
Students are notified by the housing when a package is ready for pickup. Depending on the item, packages may be retrieved from secure package lockers or picked up directly at the residence's front desk or mailroom (for example, large or oversized items).

The Campus Store is not responsible for delays, returns, or disposal that occur due to campus housing or mailroom policies. Visit University of Utah Housing's Desk & Mail Services page for more details.

Shipping Rates & Charges

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout and are subject to change without notice. Shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has shipped, except where required by law or explicitly stated in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Returns, refunds, and exchanges are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Free Shipping Eligibility

Free Economy Shipping may be available on qualifying orders. Free shipping promotions apply only to eligible items and destinations, and are not valid on international shipments, items shipped directly from the manufacturer, or prior purchases. No price adjustments will be made after an order is placed.

International, Military, PO Box, Alaska & Hawaii Shipping

International and military shipments may be subject to duties, taxes, and customs fees imposed by the destination country. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in your order total.

Orders refused, returned, or abandoned due to unpaid duties or fees may be subject to refund restrictions in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy. International and military shipments are not eligible for free shipping unless explicitly stated.

Delivery timelines provided by carriers are estimates and rates are not guaranteed.

Delivery Responsibility & Carrier Delays

The Campus Store is not responsible for carrier delays, service interruptions, weather-related disruptions, or packages that are lost or stolen after delivery has been confirmed by the carrier. However, we are happy to assist customers with carrier inquiries and available investigative steps when applicable.

We recommend shipping to a secure location. Orders marked as delivered by the carrier are considered complete. If your package arrives damaged or you believe it may be lost, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help guide next steps, including initiating carrier inquiries when appropriate.
