Promotions & Exclusions Policy
We love offering our customers special deals and promotions throughout the year. To keep things clear and fair, please review the following guidelines on how promotions are applied at the University of Utah Campus Store (in-store and online).
General Rules
- Promotions apply only to eligible items, as specified in the offer.
- Standard exclusions always apply unless otherwise stated:
- Graduation Regalia (caps, gowns, and related items)
- Technology products (computers, headphones, electronics, calculators)
- Course materials (including textbooks and digital access codes)
- Services
- Starbucks
- Clearance items (excluded by default, but may be included in specific promotions)
- Custom goods & products
- Discounts do not stack. Only one promotion or discount can be applied per item, unless a promotion specifically states otherwise.
- Items individually exempt from promotions and discounts will be noted in product listings or descriptions.
- Eligibility is subject to verification at checkout.
- In the event of a discrepancy, the Campus Store reserves the right to adjust or cancel orders.
How Promotions Are Applied
- Promotions are valid only during the dates and for the categories specified in the offer.
- If an item is not eligible, the promotion will apply only to qualifying items in your cart.
- Promotional pricing cannot be combined with other discounts, including Crimson Club, employee, or student discounts, unless explicitly stated.
Online Orders & Checkout
- The shopping cart will display which items qualify for a promotion.
- If an item is excluded, the discount will not apply to that product.
- Occasionally, system errors may occur, orders are subject to review and may be adjusted if an ineligible item was incorrectly discounted.
